They are so tiny! I love them, and I bought them to support your continued fight against the asinine magnet ban. Keep up the good work, hopefully I can buy some more Zen Magnets in the future. Fun to play with, and due to the density completed structures look really cool! Neoballs/Zen Magnets are still easier to construct with however.Micromagnets don't have the same precision level as Zen Magnets/Neoballs (some of the spheres have visible pits, deformations, and irregularities when looked at closely). However due to their size, any construction issues are greatly reduced.Overall, I'm pretty happy with them! I wish it were still possible to purchase regular size magnet spheres, but these are fun too!It would be nice to have a more affordable option for larger sets (~$100 for the large set is rather a lot to consider, but the visible size of the small set seems somewhat inconsequential when considering it as a gift). The packaging is nice however. Thanks for keeping things going, and good luck with the ongoing CPSC lawsuits! |

Overall I quite liked the micromagnets and was very happy with the amount I could buy. My one disappointment with the Zen Magnets was that I couldn't easily afford the amount that I wanted but with micromagnets I could. I would appreciate if the guide material was more micromagnet focused. It seems like it was geared toward Zen Magnets so some of the suggestions and guides didn't quite apply.Overall I quite like the product and will likely buy more. |

I can play with the micromagnets all day, because it requires finesse but not manual strength. With the zens you need more strength/endurance than finesse to make things like the ultimate ball and other 2-3 hour builds. I have both. I love both for different reasons. Its nice to get a mini work out and have a nice big structure as a reward. The smaller micromagnets require a lot more concentration. |

After using Micromagnets, Zen Magnets seem MASSIVE - a bit too big! But conversely, Micromagnets are a bit too small!I would love to see an "in between" size! (obviously with the precision and consistency that we love Zen Magnets for)Maybe an ideal size would be 4mm or 3.5mm... hard to tell :) |

There's not much to improve on as they are very smaller in comparison to zen magnets. If you could is improve the size of the micro. but I only assume that you can't because of the new regulations regarding sphere magnets. Now zen magnets are much stronger and much easier to build with. They would be my go to magnets. |

They are cool, and I appreciate that you have to make them so tiny to be compliant. That said, they are too small to really work with for anything complex. I enjoyed playing with them as a novelty, but I don't think they will make a successful product longterm - or at least not as successful as Zen magnets were. Sorry about all the legal troubles, you definitely fought the good fight! |

Overall I really like the Micromagnets product, and have been very satisfied with the product. Having said that, I do have some suggestions for improvement:1. Price point is a little high in my opinion. I realize you are trying to subsidize your fight against the CPSC, but nevertheless I don't think you've hit the pricing sweet spot yet.2. The box that the 1728 set comes in is prone to leaving the magnets in a mangled heap. I like the presentation, but it's sometimes ruined because the magnets slip out of the crevice and then get bounced around and pushed out of alignment.3. Is there any possibility that you could increase the strength of these magnets?4. Perhaps an even larger bulk set could be offered? Say equivalent to 4 of the 1728 sets?5. The lack of spares is kind of a bummer since these are generally easier to lose.Thanks!-R##### Hildinger |

Un-fuck the law and then bring back the Zen Magnets. One of the magnets out of the 2160 I got was deformed a bit. I find that with a bit more effort and tedium most everything possible with the 5mm Zen Magnets is possible with the Micromagnets. I would most like a carrying bag to come with the Micromagnets, much like that which came with the Zen Sets. |

I can now feel magnetism. When in the presence of few strong magnets, I can feel south.I can orient myself within roughly +-5 degrees. So pretty coolAlso, I got a magnet that a magnet which is bent. The n and s poles aren't on a line directly through the middle of the sphere. Only complaintIt doesn't really mess anything up too much (though this is my first time with magnet spheres so it may be causing issues I can't easily notice) |

Micromagnets are cool for building complex structures that are pre-planned. Zen magnets are fun for experimentation and generally keeping your hands busy since they are easier to handle.I think people would still buy these on places like the darknet, or would even consider paying for shipping from other countries. It's bullshit that we can't buy Zen Magnets anymore. As a secondary option to Zen Magnets the quality is the same as before, excellent coating, excellent quality, great customer service, I just hate how tiny they are. I'd never give them up unless it was for some zen magents (Huh? Huh? ~_~) but the smaller size of the Magnets does not allow for making some of the more complex, less structurally sound shapes, but I was aware of this when I pre-ordered them. All in all I prefer them over not having anything but I don't think anything will ever beat zen Magnets. |

If cost wasn't an issue, I would prefer zen magnets over micromagnets, because the larger magnets are somewhat easier to work with. However, the lower cost-per-magnet of the micromagnets makes it much easier to get a larger number of magnets, so you can build more complex objects at a lower cost. |

They're a great product, though i did notice (and its completely understandable) that the level of uniformity among them is a little off. Like, the tolerance in Zen Magnets is tiny, part of why they're expensive i'm sure, but it makes them an incredibly high quality product. Its kinda like the MicroMagnets tolerance is also tiny, but not quite to the same degree. I understand its probably too expensive to try and make them TOO uniform, its just something I noticed while messing around with them. They're also freaking adorable ^_^ |

I like that Micromagnets don't take up as much space so I don't have to spread out as much to build. They are also quieter so I don't annoy those around me as much. Being cheaper per magnet allowed me to buy more so I could build some structures I wasn't able to with my Zen Magnets.I wish the sets came with a few extra spares like Zen Magnets. I've had a couple magnets that were highly deformed. The lamination on a couple of my magnetic field viewers started to separate and I've only used them for splitting Micromagnets as directed by the construction book. |

The booklet doesn't allow for it to be laid flat, and it kind of resists all attempts to hold it open. The product and packaging are great, and the magnetic field viewer blew mine and my wife's friggin' minds. So, yeah, the book was the only thing that was weird. I liked looking through it, and there were things that I wanted to build...but it was an ordeal to keep it open so I could see what I needed to do.(Also, you could put a note in there about how many magnets on a side you're supposed to have to get it to go back in the box. I really like them, but Zen Magnets had that bit more control. However, due to the size, I can't really say anything much. I was initially very surprised at the size of them but I quickly got used to them. They're really fun to play with.I think the biggest thing I didn't like (even though it isn't that big) is that there were no extra magnets per set. I ordered a set very early so I dont know if you added some extra magnets or not. I lost one magnet after about a month and it really bugged me that I had one missing. they are much harder to make shapes compared to zen magnets, mostly because of their size, but also because they don't hold together as strongly. Also, the consistency of the diameter of the spheres isn't as good as zen magnets; flat shapes don't lay completely flat. |

While there is a certain appeal to Micromagnets, mostly they just pale in comparison to zen magnets. Micromagnets are great if you want a challenge and if you want whatever you build to look more smooth and detailed. But zen magnets are much more easy to use which makes playing with them more easier and fun. So i guess it just depends on what you want. I think the size limits your options. They don't string up as easily because they aren't as strong and being so light they fold onto each other very easily which makes it harder to build. And they are much easier to lose. Visually interesting because they're so small when you do build things, but it's a lot more time consuming to create cool stuff. |

They're still fun, and the magnetic field viewer is a nice bonus, but the small size is alot harder to manipulate, and "constructions" of them feel delicate. Does not have the same "desk toy" appeal. Micromagnets were easier to use than I anticipated, given the disclaimers on the site and in the emails, so that was good. Unfortunately, Zen Magnets created a high standard for uniform size and fully round magnets. For Micromagnets to meet the same standard for uniformity would require tolerances of half or better of the Zen tolerances, but halving the size of the sphere makes achieving even Zen tolerances at least twice as hard to do. Getting truly uniform and nearly identical spheres was what made a Zen set Zen. The Micros just don't fit as tightly and don't form the straight lines or flat sheets that were the norm with Zens. If you can tighten the tolerances without raising the price, I think the micros are a viable product. If not, I don't see the micros surviving without cutting off the supply of larger lower quality spheres imported by the order direct to the end user. |

Zen Magnets and Micromagnets are both awesome products. Very high quality, fairly priced. I only slightly prefer the original, and only because the original Zen Magnets make a very satisfying sound when they snap together. Not really sure what you can really do about that since it's just a matter of magnet size. Aside from that I have no complaints about the magnets. Something else you could maybe consider is working on a thinner version of your original PVC cards. The MFV cards you include with the Micromagnets are nice and they certainly do the job, but they don't look as nice and are a bit on the small size. The original PVC cards are just a bit too thick to work well with the Micromagnets, but they look so nice and fit nicely in the hand. Just a suggestion. Have a good one! |

Bigger magnets and better organized shipping department. I waited 2 months after release of compliance magnets to recieve them. CPC needs to mind their business. I enjoy your company with high respects |

Magnets are good, but much less powerful than I was expecting. I understand the reason but it wasn't as great as I was looking forward to, nowhere near the regular size magnets |

You have done pretty much the best that you could with the micro magnets, I just prefer the strength and was of manipulation of the full-sized Zen Magnets. |

They are much fussier to work with, because they are so much weaker. I think you've done a fine job within the constraints for "compliance magnets" and only underscore the point. :) |

The magnets are a little weaker than Zen magnets, but work perfectly fine. The only thing I've been disappointed in has been the magnetic field viewer. If you bend it at all it creates bubbles in it and you can't see the magnetic field as well anymore. |

It is nice that they are so cheap and they are an acceptable substitute while Zens are banned. But they are just too small to manipulate as effectively as Zen Magnets. I know your hands are tied by the CPSC, Maybe you can use this in the court case as a reason to keep the Original Zen size. |

Even though they are much smaller than the their Zen counterparts, the Micromagnets work just as well, and structures built with them actually look even cooler (think of miniature origami swans vs normal sized versions). The only complaint I can think of is that they are a bit harder to work with (which obviously can't be helped, given their size). Aside from that, I just hope they are eventually available in different colors! |

I enjoy the novelty of the micro magnets. However, I was already on the fence about these magnets, and a few of my magnets came flattened or misshapen. I would've appreciated if you had spares in the big set so I don't have to buy more to have them perform right. Spares were what led me to u guys back when I bought my first Buckyball set. I lost one of my buckyball brand magnets and they didn't have spares and I was devastated. I searched online for spares and found your company. And considering I am not really in love with the new micromagnets, I have little incentive to buy another set just for spares, especially when they seem like they could easily be lost being so small. I know they're considerably cheaper, But in my opinion they are an inferior product to the Zen Magnets so the price fits. But spares are always appreciated, even if the price goes up a little because it leaves a good impression on the consumer and gives them confidence in the company. I don't have fingernails so these are extremely hard for me to work with quickly, and because of that I have a lot less incentive to want to accumulate a large set of these. I will continue to support you guys, because I will never forget what your company tried to do in regards to keeping magnets spheres legal. The micro magnets are a good start, but I'm also looking forward to new ideas and products coming in the future. I would give anything to put a ban on our overreaching government and there absurd laws designed to "protect" us. But I wish u all the best and I will keep my eyes on my emails waiting for news |

I like the small magnets and I can understand why you went with half the diameter but being so small, you cannot make really big sculptures. But it is really awesome that I can even get these here in Canada. I will always prefer the Zen but these are a really, really good substitution. I will actually order another mini mandala set right now. Thank you for the 20% coupon :) |

The price is very expansive. My boy has ADD and it has help him in many ways. I would like to get lots more cause he has conquered so many designs already but we need more. I also have a problem with getting them. I am in Canada. It takes for ever. And then I have to pay a fee at the door to UPS. Why!!! |

My beloved ones, you are the best! xoxoBoth products have their pros and cons, but Micromagnets has more pros than cons, and that's why I prefer it. But in truth, I prefer having a mix.Micromagnet pros:-Cheaper-Relatively stronger. longest Stick of 33 (vs. 26)-Requires less force to separateCons:-Somewhat harder to handleMix pros:-More variety. Can have geometries that are a mix of large and small.-Functionality. I use Zen magnets when I want to experiment with a new type of geometry. Once I'm sharp on the details, I'm switching over to the micro magnets |

I'm very pleased with the Micromagnets. Their size certainly adds a new challenge. I still prefer the Zen Magnets for their size and strength, as I still find myself crushing or dropping my creations with the smaller rendition. I don't see this as a fault with the product; I simply prefer a larger sphere, I suppose. Thanks for the hours of entertainment :) |

Pakaging was kind of pointless, they arrived all balled up and loose. I miss the delicious wood box like I got with zen magnets. Pretty cool as far as the magnets go a little more challenging and I'm more likely to use them cause they're cheaper. |

The plastic magnetic field viewing cards are very fun and delightful to play along side magnets, but they are too easy to break. |

The size of the magnets was a blessing and a curse. But, because of compliance, I don't think there's much that can be improved on. |

I just like the bigger size of the zen magnets. The micromagnets are harder to work with and I was challenged enough with the regular size! |

Something you can approval upon is may be making the magnets slightly bigger. In my experience my hands turned out to be too big for the magnets. The strength of the magnets were pretty good though. |

I really like the Micromagnets. The quality is great and the packaging looks nice too. Maybe you could seal the Micromagnets just as the Zen Magnets in a Mandala set to keep them in place in the package. |
